Description
Interior
As much thought and attention has gone into the inside of the bag as the outside.
It is lined throughout with a quilted lining and pockets are finished with a smart leather trim.
It has a large padded slip pocket in which to place any size laptop up to (and including) a 17-inch screen. This pocket is also designed to fit an Alder protective laptop sleeve.
There are two additional slip pockets at the bottom of the bag on the inside sides for slim items.
The final pocket is a large zipped leather pocket on the inside front of the bag, in which to keep personal or precious items.
Exterior
This sleek minimal style is classic and timeless.
The bag is structured so that it stands-up even when empty.
The shoulder strap is wide for comfort, long for versatility and double-folded for strength (the straps are not long enough to allow the bag to be worn messenger style).
A two-way zip at the top secures the contents and is convenient for both left and right handers. The two zips can be padlocked together if needed.
It has a small removable strap at the back of the bag which allows it to be secured onto a trolley bag.
It has a double thickness strip of leather stitched in across the top of the back of the bag which is designed to be used with the trolley bag and it doubles up as a convenient handle.
The bottom of the bag has six stud feet which help to protect it from wet and dirty surfaces.
The hardware is brass.

This product comes beautifully presented in a bespoke white cotton dust bag and wrapped in white tissue paper in an Alder cardboard box.

Exchange
If you receive your Alder product and you really would like exchange it for another colour or style I will accept the return. I would always prefer, however, that you didn't do this as I like the products to receive the minimum of handling before they find their forever home.
When I receive the returned product I will send the alternative out to you but will ask that you cover the cost of postage for the return (we can then arrange a refund or extra charge depending upon a price difference between the exchanged and the alternative product).

Ordering more than one product to choose a colour or style?
Unlike large corporations, I don't hold a lot of stock and my products are very precious to me. I would always prefer that you didn't order more than item with the intention of sending one back as I like the products to receive the minimum of handling before they find their forever home.
If, however, you really can't decide, I will accept the return of one of the products but I will ask that you pay the return postage.

Changed your mind?
Great care is taken to ensure that the products are accurately described and professionally photographed in the hope that this doesn't happen.

If you receive your order and the product is damaged in any way please let me know and I will arrange the return of the product and give you a full refund.

*I would always recommend using recorded delivery service as proof of delivery. Proof of posting is not proof of delivery and all goods remain the responsibility of the customer until they are returned and received. Also I would recommend that the postage service that you are using insures the full cost of the product.

Returns can be accepted in line with UK distance selling regulations. Some of Buy Britain’s sellers offer longer returns periods – check on the “Shipping” tab for further details.
You should notify the seller using the “My Account” page on Buy Britain within 14 days of receiving the item(s), and you then have 14 days to return it/them to the seller within 14 days.
Any item(s) you wish to return must be unopened and unused, in the same condition as delivered to you.
The only exceptions to this are those items that come with hygiene or sanitary seals (for example face masks, underwear, earrings, piercings, etc.), where the sanitary/hygiene seal must be present and unbroken for a refund to be considered.
Any postage paid separately will not be refunded and, unless specified by the seller, you will be responsible for any return postage and packaging.
