Neve’s Bees Bee Happy Body Oil is super concentrated so a little goes a long way. Skin lotions and creams are made mainly from water (usually around 60%-80%) mixed with oils or liquid paraffin, and so require emulsifiers and preservatives to mix the oils and stop bacteria growing in the water – almost all lotions and creams contain chemicals that will kill bacteria in the product…and also on your skin. We prefer not to upset the skin’s natural skin flora so chose not to add water to any of our products – so we don’t need to add any synthetic emulsifiers and preservatives – just pure natural plant oils, as nature intended.

Neve’s Bees Bee Happy Body Oil also contains:

APRICOT KERNEL Oil – a super lightweight, fast absorbing yet ultra-moisturising oil packed with natural linoleic acid (an omega 6) to strengthen the skin’s barrier function and oleic acid (an omega 9) to soften skin with a satin-like feel. It’s also naturally high in Vitamin E which helps to protect cells from damaging free radicals (such as environmental pollutants). Apricot Kernel Oil is great for moisturising dry, sensitive skin and can smooth out blemishes, wrinkles, fine lines, and other symptoms of maturing skin. Our Apricot Kernel Oil is ethically sourced from Southern Europe.

ARGAN OIL: Often called Liquid Gold, Organic Argan is a gift from nature containing the Optimum balance of fatty essential and Vitamin E which assists in the production of collagen leaving skin vibrant and glowing. We source our Argan from the first women run co-operative in Morocco. The network educates local families about the value of the Argan tree in Morocco and promotes the prevention of deforestation by offering a more sustainable source of income.

JOJOBA OIL: Jojoba’s natural structure mimics that of our own sebum, which makes it perfect for sinking in, softening and nourishing. It has a light moisturizing feel and absorbs well into the skin. Several studies have shown jojoba’s skin benefits in slowing the signs of aging. We source our Jojoba Oil from a cooperative settlement in the heart of the Negev Desert in Israel. Sustainability and the environment are at the forefront of their operation.
