Description
Our new partnership with Knighton Mill Pottery, located in the idyllic Chalke Valley, will gradually see a range of beautiful hand-thrown pottery by Ian Morrison added to the EKC range.
Ian has been making pottery for over 20 years and the products EKC are developing reflect Ian’s worldwide experiences in the ceramics industry.
Handmade and high fired in the Knighton Mill kiln, the EKC range of pottery is for everyday use and are microwave and dishwasher safe.
The salt firing process in the gas kiln involves introducing salt into the kiln chamber and Ian users a wood ash glaze that he has created especially for EKC. This gives the glaze its distinct character and charm, producing a varied range of surface patterns in each firing. Every item has an individual and unique finish.
Our first two products in the new range are characterised by all the EKC hallmarks – practical, unique, sustainable and truly enduring kitchen heirloom pieces.
The everyday rustic mug is tactile and sturdy; unique and beautifully crafted.
The Artisan Juicer is a stylish addition to the kitchen. Great for all citrus fruits. We have even used it for Pomegranates.

Some of our smaller items can be shipped within a few days of receipt of order but as many of our products are hand-made and painted to order we aim to update you on dispatch within 1-2 weeks. If it is going to be longer than this we will contact you and let you know.

We hope you will love your Ella’s Kitchen Company purchase, but if you find it unsuitable or are not entirely satisfied, provided you notify us within 7 days of receipt and return it to us within 14 days of receipt unused and in its original packaging and in perfect condition, you will be entitled to a refund or exchange. Please ensure that the product is packed and labelled carefully so that it is not damaged or lost in transit as the goods are at your risk until they are returned to us. We recommend using registered post and retaining the proof of postage. Please note that we cannot refund return delivery charges unless the item you received was incorrect, damaged or faulty. If an item is recieved faulty and you have notified us within the correct amount of time, it may be that we ask you to dispose of it. We will not pay for the cost of return unless it is sanctioned by us so please check before returning the goods to us. This does not affect your statutory rights. You should notify the seller using the “My Account” page on Buy Britain within 14 days of receiving the item(s), and you then have 14 days to return it/them to the seller within 14 days.
Any item(s) you wish to return must be unopened and unused, in the same condition as delivered to you.
The only exceptions to this are those items that come with hygiene or sanitary seals (for example face masks, underwear, earrings, piercings, etc.), where the sanitary/hygiene seal must be present and unbroken for a refund to be considered.
Any postage paid separately will not be refunded and, unless specified by the seller, you will be responsible for any return postage and packaging.
Once the seller has received the item, they should provide a refund within 14 days.
