Description

A blend of Art Nouveau and Art Deco Styles on a smooth-edged square glass wall mirror. Supplied as a modern frameless mirror, it is fitted with a safety backing and heavy-duty hanger and is ready to hang when delivered. Silver-lead detailing and edging to create a design that is pleasing to the eye and yet still a functional mirror for those last-minute touch-ups before you leave the house.

 

Each Elven Glass Mirror is handmade with care in our studio gallery by Teresa, it can take over 100 individual, handcrafted processes and up to four days to make a Mirror, depending on its design and size. This ensures that each mirror is an individual work of art.

Smooth ground edge glass mirror supplied with hanging fittings installed, each mirror is made using modern materials and comes with a safety backing fitted to help prevent splintering in case of an accident. When finished your mirror’s hanging fittings are tested for shear strength to more than five times the mirror’s weight, the test result is written on the back of the mirror next to the hanger plate or subframe and the number shown next to the two opposing arrows represents the force applied in kilograms.

 

Hanging Your Mirror:

Your mirror will arrive with suitable hangers attached, in the case of the small to medium size mirrors they will be fitted with a single metal hanger. Our larger mirrors will arrive fitted with an aluminium subframe to which two adjustable hangers will be attached, the adjustable hangers will allow adjustment for getting your mirror level. For all hanging fittings, we recommend the use of plastic wall plugs and screws for solid walls and appropriate expanding plugs for cavity walls. In all instances, the wall fixing must be of adequate size for the weight of the mirror being hung.

 

Caring for your mirror correctly is important in maintaining its appearance, in order to do this we recommend the following:

*Wash your mirror with lukewarm water and a small amount of washing-up liquid on a soft cloth or sponge (DO NOT immerse your mirror in water or use abrasive pads or cleaners) 

dry your mirror with a soft, lint-free towel (DO NOT dry

To return an item
You should notify us using the “My Account” page on Buy Britain within 14 days of receiving the item(s), and you then have 14 days to return it/them to the seller within 14 days.
Any item that you wish to return must be unopened and unused, in the same condition as it was delivered to you, and unbroken in order for a refund to be considered.
Any postage paid separately will not be refunded and, unless specified by the seller, you will be responsible for any return postage and packaging.
